Packing Services Our professional packing service takes the stress out of preparing for your move. We thoughtfully organize, categorize and pack your belongings so everything is clearly labelled and ready for moving day. Packing services can include: Pre-packing organization and light decluttering Categorizing belongings by room or destination Careful packing of household items Wrapping and protecting fragile items Packing and labelling boxes Creating logical box groupings for easier unpacking Identifying priority or “open first” boxes Setting aside donation and disposal items Coordinating the packing process alongside your movers, when applicable Packing supplies and materials are not included and are billed separately or may be supplied by the client. Packing/unpacking: 4-Hour Packing Session - $500 6-Hour Packing Session - $750 Unpacking & Home Setup More than simply emptying boxes, our unpacking service helps turn your new space into a functional, organized home from the start. Unpacking services can include: Unpacking boxes and household belongings Sorting and categorizing items Thoughtful placement of belongings Kitchen and pantry setup Bathroom organization Bedroom and closet setup Entryway and everyday-living organization Creating practical organizational systems Breaking down empty boxes and consolidating packing materials Identifying items for donation or disposal Fine-tuning spaces so they function for your household and routines Organizing products, storage solutions and other supplies are not included and are purchased separately with client approval. Unpacking/organizing: 4-Hour Unpacking & Home Setup - $550 6-Hour Move-In Reset - $825 Please note: Light Haus Living provides packing, unpacking and organizing services. We do not provide moving transportation, furniture disassembly/assembly, appliance installation or specialized handling of exceptionally heavy, hazardous or high-value items. Moving services should be completed by an appropriately insured moving company. Packing supplies NOT included such as: boxes, specialty boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, labels, and protective materials. Packing materials - billed separately. Waterloo estimate: $240-$480 labour plus $75-$125 materials for condo packing. Procurement/sourcing fee: Delivery of materials purchased on behalf of client. We can suggest a couple moving companies local to Waterloo Region area. Decluttering before packing is strongly recommended.
